Stakeholder Investment and Change Management: How to Navigate Internal Adoption of New Bot Technologies

Back to Agenda

Voice has the potential to provide users with a more approachable, less intimidating natural interface. But it also comes with a very high internal standard for clarity, understanding, and punctuality. If your voice and chat interfaces don’t make common interactions quicker and easier, they will quickly be abandon for traditional GUI alternatives. Creating value early, aligning with your brand, and building for scalability are key to making your bots successful. We’ll examine the challenges faced by product managers, UX designers, marketing and software architects.

In this session, you’ll see examples of building internal mindshare through the use of early prototypes, user testing, focus groups, and technology partnerships. Like many paradigm shifts, getting initial buy-in can often be the hardest part.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Picking use cases that are both useful and achievable
  • Bringing stakeholders onboard early to understand priorities and risks
  • Getting user feedback to understand what works best
  • Building a roadmap that connects current practices with future direction
